Molten metal cleanliness is important to all foundries; But even more so in the premium grade aluminum foundry's where there is a constant search for more economical ways of reducing hydrogen gas levels, inclusions and alkalis. This effort is driven by a need to reduce production costs while improving casting efficiency.
The primary means of increasing efficiency is through minimizing the soluble hydrogen levels inherent in aluminum-base alloys. Hydrogen is the only gas having any measure of solubility in aluminum. It is created through the reaction of the aluminum with moisture in the melting environment. The primary purposes for degassing is to remove hydrogen gas from molten aluminum. Degassing also removes other impurities such as inclusions and alkalies.
According to the theory of degassing, Nanning Hengjia Ltd. Co has developed a series of degassing machinery and gas detector to meet the foundry needs. XPC Series include XPC100 Suspended Spinning Rotor Degassing Unit, XPC200 Mobile Spinning Degassing Unit and XPC300 Fixed Base Spinning Rotor Degassing Unit. All above degassing units simply has a single degassing function to fit all kinds of position for foundry.
