Political stalemate still unlikely to have a significant impact on exports this year, as the anti-government protests are expected to end soon.
We believe the protests will be short lived, said Aat Pisanwanich, director of the University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce's Center for International Trade Studies.
"If the domestic political strife cases, exports are expected to recover from the second quarter onward," said Mr Aat, who is also the dean of the university's economics faculty.
