Using the Pearson product-moment correlation coefficient, we found that EUF was positively associated with extraversion and conscientiousness, but negatively related to neuroticism. The results of a simultaneous multiple regression analysis indicated that EUF, extraversion, and neuroticism accounted for a statistically significant amount of variance in EFL achievement. Of the variables, EUF made the largest significant unique contribution to the prediction of the participants’ EFL achievement.
