Slope gradient of 5 was relatively gentler, runoff transportation capacity was limited (Sutherland et al., 1996); while at 10 slope, runoff was of sufficiently energetic to transport
the larger size aggregates. Besides, high rainfall intensity and steep slope gradient led to a greater soil aggregate loss.
