A questionnaire based on IMMS showed that the students' attention improved significantly due to the introduction of AR technology. The
students in class T2 also considered the teaching contents to be relevant, and so had greater confidence and satisfaction throughout the
course. We tested whether the students learnt the basic creative design processes, understood the creativity assessment method, and
mastered the usage of the 3D modelling software. The test results showed that the proposed AR system allowed students to master the
teaching contents of the creative design course. Four general technology course teachers at RDFZ were invited to assess the creativity of the
final outputs designed by the students. The results showed that all four teachers considered the creative designs produced by students who
employed AR were more novel and sophisticated, and had more practical value.
