Current Labor Legislation
The source of employment and industrial laws include the 1992 Constitution (as amended in 2001) and the 2005 Civil Code. Current labor legislation is mainly comprised of; the 1994 Labor Code (as amended in 2002, 2006 and 2007) (LC) and its implementing decrees and circulars; the 2004 Civil Procedures Code; the 1994 Law on Trade Unions and its implementing regulations; the 2006 Law on Social Insurance (the Law on SI) and its implementing decrees and circulars; the 2008 Law on Health Insurance (the Law on HI) and its implementing decrees and circulars; and the 2005 Law on Enterprises.
