There has been a vivid international discussion around the reform. From subjects to topics what is Finland doing, they are asking in the international press. When talking about the challenges and future of our schooling we need to take in to the consideration the huge and rapid change in the world. Digitalization, open access to the funds of knowledge, knowledge co-creation, active agency and boundary crossing in learning challenges us to reconsider the settings of learning. Interaction between formal education and informal learning needs to be established. It is a common knowledge (Banks 2007) that children learn outside the formal education. Almost 7o-8oz of their knowing is from informal sources. Schools and classrooms need to take this in to the concideration and open up to the surrounding environments, both physical and virtual environments. This means that students need media literacy skills, skills how it is established and what gives a justification to our to understand what knowledge is, opinions. (Krokfors & al, 2015)
