The results of the patient satisfaction survey
have allowed the quality assurance team to
establish areas of good practice to be shared across
the region. The team has identified where practices
differed and where there were potential problem
areas. For the regional quality assurance nurse,
the survey results provided a new level of evidence
for discussion at regional meetings and at
quality assurance visits, leading to sharing of
good practice in the region. The results of the
survey have provided an opportunity to give
support and guidance to all nursing teams in the
region and have provided evidence to ensure
changes, for example the provision of private
discussion areas, particularly with regard to
assessment centre facilities.
