In this context, the purpose of this study was to evaluate the
effects of a 16-week group PA program on physical fitness and
quality of life of outpatients with schizophrenia. Specifically, the
focus was on the anthropometric characteristics, the body
composition, the functional exercise capacity, the PA levels, and the
quality of life of the participants. In this study outpatients with
schizophrenia enrolled in a 16-week program were compared to
patients with the same diagnosis with no adjuvant program.
