to every rule but for the most part our roads must be separated into size classes and
symbolized accordingly.
Once a symbol is chosen for each road class, with a thinner line for minors and
a thicker line for majors, the drawing order must be dealt with. A map will be more
comprehensible with the smaller roads drawn underneath the larger. Furthermore,
