All of the children in the sample were then asked if they felt
the Lexia Reading program had helped them. Seventy-two
per cent of the children were sure that it had, with 14%
being unsure and 14% feeling that it had not helped them
(see Figure 4). The perceptions of the children themselves
is poignant because the percentage of children who were
sure that it helped them (72%) is relatively close to the
percentage of children in the study who increased their
standardised reading score (66%).
