First of all please accept my sincere apologies for missing our meeting today. Another meeting overran and I did not make it between buildings in time. I wonder if it would be possible to have a telephone call on Friday at 3pm Thai time (9am UK) to catch up ? Please confirm the phone number and I will be happy to call you and Kenny if he can support.
I am looking forward to my next visit to Thailand – currently scheduled for 12th September and welcome the accommodation in the City. Many thanks for your assistance here. I assume that there will be accommodation near to the range site for both myself, Kenny and our SAES representative ? Could you please confirm where the proposed survey kick off meeting will be held and the itinery for travel to Sattahip ? I will be able to confirm my travel arrangements once I have an understanding of the Admirals visit later in September which I know you are involved in firming up – maybe we could discuss this on Friday ?
With regard to the reservation for the dry dock, I understand that there may be an opportunity to bring the platforms in a little earlier but as yet I have no fixed date. However I am confident that I can provide this to you next week.
I hope you now have the final version of the survey report and that it is acceptable to the Royal Thai Navy ? I am grateful of your continued support in this matter.
As you may understand I am very keen to address some of the outstanding activities to ensure the Programme is in a good position. I am aware that you are addressing the appointment of a local shipyard and that the decision is imminent. This is very positive for the project and will help stabilise our plans and schedules moving forward. Kenny advises me that there has been some progress on the PMP and relevant HSE documentation which is great to hear. I am very much looking forward to closing this issue out.
This is a very exciting opportunity for us and I am delighted to be finally in position. I am very much looking forward to working with you and the team to deliver this project.
