The study was carried out under typically Mediterranean
climate conditions and it highlighted the fact that, in an H-SSF
system for the wastewater treatment, the choice of two plant
species, which are different from an ecological and morphophysiological point of view, can significantly influence the final
global water balance in a system and, as a consequence, the
amount of treated wastewater available at the outflow. The results
