The task may be difficult, scary, or boring, but when faced with "the decision," we choose the path of least resistance—not to do it. There are many reasons why we procrastinate: this may include fear of failure, lack of interest, rebellion, or just plain laziness. But in the end, in order to overcome procrastination, we also have to choose to accept failure, choose to complete work that is beneath us, choose to obey and do what is assigned to us, and choose to get off our asses.
