My name is sangrawee komkham and I am the third year student of history major
My topic today is pat tai or in English name “stir-fried Thai noodles”
I divided my topic into 2 parts which are history and ingredients of “Pat Tai”
Now, let me move on to the first part “history of Pat tai”
pat Tai have been created for decades and it was widely known as Thai National dishsince World War 2 by PlaekPhibunsongkhram, who is Thai Prime minister at that time. He created the campaign for reducing consumption rice and interesting people to eat the noodles instead because of deficiency situation and the treaty between England that Thai has to send rice more than one million ton for compensation. As a result, Thai had a little rice, but had a lot of rice residues that were from the process of milling rice. Then ancient people brought those residues to make Thai noodles and created this menu for eat instead. That end of the history which is my first point
Now, move on to the last point “ingredients of pat tai ”
“Pat tai” has not many ingredients because in the war period it was hard to find foodstuffs. For this reason, Stir-fried Thai noodles have around 6 ingredients which are Thai noodles
