The case study comprises an expert panel, consisting
of representatives of actors across the maritime
transport chain, combined with a Delphi-survey tool
for shorter planning intervals which is a suitable
method for a collaborative planning approach. For a
better comparison, the different planning approaches
and horizons have to be unified to one key figure, e.g.
whole container volume or transhipment figure in ports.
After unification of the figures, they have to be
weighted with the actors’ market share in each segment.
