You must have a personal car / rental car / motorbike (a kind of your own transportation) to conveniently stay in this hotel. First impression: big nice hotel sign, was easy to locate, but limited parking space (only 2-3 slots) The lobby was a bit too dark. I think the owner would like it to have an atmosphere like a pub/club but I still think it was too dark and was kind of scary (like a motel in a horror film) The lobby was properly lit up in the day time though and I think it was tastefully decorated. The hotel has a small elevator (I think it has 4 floors). When we entered the room, we loved the decoration. The superior room was big enough for us. Nice bathroom. However, I stepped on an uncleaned spot. I think the maid missed to clean that up (the area under the night stand - it looked like spilled of instant noodle that already dried up) The room was equipped with tea/coffee/electric pot BUT the pot was dirty. I tried to wash the pot but I think I need a proper detergent to have it cleaned. I didn't book the room with breakfast so I have no comment on that. Rome Hotel is a bit far from the center. The red mini pickups (Song Teaw) don't usually pass by in the area (if you catch one in the city center to hotel, it will cost around 200 baht). I recommend you travel by your own transportation. In short, small, quiet, nice designs, good service with rooms for some improvement. Very inexpensive for long stay if you don't have a problem with location. Good stay.
