The famous Japanese pop rock group Scandal recently celebrated ten years together with a successful world tour. Their last stop was Thailand where, on June 18, the girls performed at BCC Hall at Central Plaza Ladprao. The concert was packed with Thai fans singing and dancing all through the two-hour show.
Scandal were formed in 2006 by four high school friends from Osaka — Haruna Ono (vocals), Mami Sasazaki (guitar), Tomomi Ogawa (bass) and Rina Suzuki (drums). They quickly became well-known for their high energy punk rock and catchy melodies. So far they’ve released seven successful studio albums, including their latest effort, Yellow.
Student Weekly attended Scandal’s press conference the day before the show, where the girls talked about playing music and other interests.
