Dear Augustina, hi Cedric,
Here is the info with my additional text. Please kindly edit for the possible grammatical errors.
The Department of Juvenile Observation and Protection of the Thai Ministry of Justice is responsible for providing services for children in conflict with the law in Thailand operating under several international rules and guideline including the Convention on the Rights of the Child, and other relevant texts. Samples of the exertions to enhance the treatment and rehabilitation quality of the juvenile, the Department conduct a number of research projects funding by various sources including the Thai Health Promotion Foundation, and the UNICEF Thailand, which carried out research to reform the system and practices by focusing on the developing and fine tuning of the classification tools and treatment and rehabilitation programs to meet with the individual requirements of the children in conflict with law and to promote the case management method to rehabilitation utilizing diversion and community involvement programs. All of the efforts are to ensure that the process and the outcome are aiming for the best interest of the child. Today the Department’s works cover Juvenile Protection and Observation Centers (the Classification Homes) situating in all 77 provinces processing approximately 40,000 juvenile cases per year and also direct all of the 33 remand homes and 18 juvenile residential centers (the Juvenile Training Center) in Thailand.
For the description of the pre conference workshop please also ask Cedric to review them since he may have more information than me for the speakers may have discussed the detail with him more. As for me I think that it is not quite clear for the first one. May be to pit the sub topics under the main topic in hyphen may help clarify the points that the audience will be getting from attending the workshop. This can be applied to the second topic as well. Also I think it is Importance to point out the relationship between the first and the second topic since they are different yet related in some way.
I am attending a conference in San diego right now and may not be able to email back right away but please let me know if you need more information from my part and I will try my best to respond to your request.
Best wishes,
Kattiya
