International recognition of His Majesty the King’s genius for invention came with His Majesty’s receipt of the “Gold Invention Award” presented by the Belgian Chamber of Inventors at the Eureka Exhibition held in Brussels in 2000. The organisers of the event honoured His Majesty the King’s capability in recognition of the Chaipattana Aerator’s tremendous value in the field of water treatment. Subsequently, His Majesty the King made a gift of a Chaipattana Aerator to Belgium and the aerator was duly installed at Woluve Sainte-Pierre park in the middle of Brussels where it had since been much admired by knowledgable persons and the public alike.
