The impact cryo-fracture surfaces of the Polylactic acid,
Polylactic acid/CSR and Polylactic acid/CSR/rubber wood composites were
observed microscopically by a Field Emission Scanning
electron microscope (FE-SEM, Hitachi 4700e) at an accelerating
voltage of 2 kV. The fractured surface of each
specimen was mounted on an aluminum stub and sputter
coated with a thin layer of gold approximately 300 Angstrom
in thickness before microscopic observation
