The resolution of CarboPacTM PA200 for linear malto oligosaccharides (more than DP
100) was a little higher than that of CarboPacTM PA100 (around DP
50–80) (Kimet al., 2013; Lee et al., 2013). After TfMAtreatment, amylopectin
B2 (DP 25–36) and B3 (DP ≥37) branch-chains decreased by
3.49%, whereas amylopectin A (DP 6–12) and B1 (DP 13–24) branchchains
increased by 3.46%. The results indicated that TfMA could increase
the number of short branch (DP 6–9) of amylopectin as much
as the 4-α-glucanotransferase from T. scotoductus (Seo et al., 2007)
and amylosucrase from Neisseria polysaccharea (Kim et al., 2013).
