proximity to coasts, measurable using the rate between coasts length and surface.

are abundant shears that form coastal inlets) the Mediterranean, the American
Great Lakes zone and maritime countries such as Japan, Italy or Chile have substantial
geographical advantages over continental countries such as Russia, the
Central African countries or the interior of Australia.
