back oninformationaboutelectricitysavingmeasures,thepilot
group, whiletherestservedasacontrolgroup.Thehouseholdsof
the pilotgroupwereabletochoosebetweenreceivingfeedback
through awebportalorbyapostalmail.Intheregressionanalysis
dummyvariableswereusedtoidentifyifthehouseholdreceived
feedback fromoneofthetwomodesoffeedback.Theregression
results suggestedthatthefeedbackledtoanaverageof4.5%of
energy savingsperhousehold.
