This theory has been the focus of much psychosocially based research.In the last half of the previous century,a great deal of psychosocial research focused on gender differences in attribution.Since that time, little has been written on the topic of gender differences in relation to AT, and such studies are not found in a current search of the literature. Consequently,the studies related to gender differences cited in the current article are somewhat dated. However, although gender differences in relation to AT have not been a topic of scholarly journal articles exist that conflicted with or refuted the findings of these earlier articles.
