As a current CQUniversity international student with a packaged program and currently enrolled in CF17 GD Management you will be able to complete your studies if you finish by Term 3, 2015 or earlier as per your current electronic Confirmation of Enrolment (eCOE).
If you complete your studies by the end of 2015, you do not need to do anything. Your internationally recognised program is going to be taught in its current format.
If you are not able to complete your studies by the end of Term 3, 2015, then you may need to transition into the new AQF compliant program for your specialisation. This new program will have a slightly different structure but you will receive full credit for the courses you have already studied. Please note that the University’s courses will be changing from 8 credit points to 6 credit points as part of AQF compliance. This may mean you will study 4 courses rather than the current 3 for the same number of credit points (for a full time study load).
In the coming weeks, CQUniversity will host a series of AQF Program Changes information sessions at each campus. These sessions will be facilitated by our friendly Student Advisors and have been designed to assist you with your program decisions and advise you of your next steps. You will receive an invitation to one of these information sessions shortly.
If you decide to change from your current program into one of the new AQF compliant programs, please complete and sign the attached Change of Program form and follow the Change of Program procedure.
We are sorry to add to your administrative burden while you are busy studying, but these changes are happening across the country at all Australian universities. We have tried to make this process as simple as possible and we are sure you will see that these changes will provide you with an even stronger range of skills and knowledge that will meet the demands of a very competitive graduate work place.
