Having no lens array gives higher illumination
efficiency than having lens array. However in this paper,
we design the lens to get better light distribution. Lens
array is needed for increasing light distribution figure 11
and 12 show light distribution. Without lens array, the light
illumination is higher but light distribution is poor. Light
simulation shows that applying the lens array can give the
efficiency of light distribution suited for potential
application with energy saving such as desk lamps, street
lamps and vehicle lamps. In Figure 9, it describes the
average per maximum ratio. The result shows that PMMA
lens can provide the best diffraction efficiency. Figures 10
and 11 show the 3D and 2D views of illuminations
respectively. Without lens array, they both show the same
intensity of 0.0004 W/m2 peak. Figure 12 shows that 2D
view illumination has more scattering in the lens array than
the single lens
