The content of sulforaphane and total glucosinolate in broccoli florets were decreased rapidly during storage. LED green light treatment prevented the decrease of total glucosinolate content and maintained notably (P < 0.05) higher value in comparison with control and fluorescent treatment, however, little effect was found on total glucosinolate between control and fluorescent treatment. There is no significant difference between treatments and control broccoli florets on sulforaphane content during the whole storage (see Fig. 4).
