The zones of inhibition were measured and compared with National Committee for Clinical Laboratory Standards
(NCCLS) guidelines [18]. Escherichia coli ATCC 25922
and P.aeruginosa ATCC 27853 were used for quality
control. Data was enter ed in to SPSS version 16 computer program. P-value s less than 0.05 were taken as statistically
sign ificant.
