The Guide Group Leader, for example, migrated to Chiphat
just three years ago and is insufficiently familiar with local flora and
fauna to confidently explain it to visitors. In fact, visitor interpretation
(e.g. naming trees and animals, talking about the uses of
different forest items, explaining religious festivals, explaining how
the agriculture system works, etc.) has been identified as a weakness
of CBET projects around the country (CCBEN, 2008), and Chiphat
is no exception to this general rule.
