2.7.2. DPPH radical scavenging activity assay
The free radical scavenging activity of the apple juice was measured using DPPH assay. A volume of 20 ll of apple juice
was incubated with 100 ll of 0.02% DPPH reagent for 30 min. The absorbance at 510 nm was read using the plate reader. The free radical scavenging activity was compared to a standard curve of prepared ascorbic acid solutions.
