Randomised controlled study
The study included 200
pregnant women randomly
divided into two groups:
experimental group, where
the umbilical cord was
declamped immediately after
being lacquered, and control
group, which remained
clamped. In both groups,
active management of TSL
was performed (CCT and
intravenous administration
of ergometrine after delivery
of the placenta)
Participants: Women with
single gestation, at term,
without coagulation
disorders, with spontaneous
cephalic presentation and
normal delivery
