Metal oxide nanoparticles are widely used in high – tech applications as removal heavy metal from environment, magnetic as storage media, drug carriers, hypertherrmia materials and so forth. These metal oxide nanoparticles are various nanomaterials such as MnO2, Fe2O3, NiO and Al2O3. In this work, we focus on MnO2 nanostructure, which is synthesized by KMnO4 solution. The prepared samples are characterized by XRD and SEM. The results showed the - MnO2 phase. SEM investigation reveals that the MnO2 nanopowders consiste of rod-like shaped particles with particle sizes in the range of 10-300 nm of dimension.
