“Is Blackie your dog?” she asked.
“yes, ma’am,” Uncle Pring answered loudly.
“It has place else to call home. I live here at school. The school is my home. I only have cats and dogs as my friends.”
“Sorry. I forgot. But please don’t let the dog roam around. Tie it so that it won’t bite anyone.”
Next session was the English class which the principal taught herself. Blackie who was tied to a tree near the classroom was howling miserably.
