We configured these 24 capacitors in two arrangements, either as three banks of 8 to provide a maximum voltage of 21.6 V, a total capacitance of about 1125 F, and a minimum equivalent resistance of about 0.8mΩ, or as four banks of 6 (see Fig. 3) to provide a maximum voltage of 16.2 V, a total capacitance of 2000 F, and a minimum equivalent resistance of about 0.44mΩ.
