To determine the water absorption of tomato pomace, a mixture of
bleached tomato pomace powder in distilled water (5%, w/w) was
prepared and agitated by a shaker for 24 h at 25 °C. The mixture was
then centrifuged at 20 °C and 4800 g for 15 min in a laboratory centrifuge
machine (TG20-WS Tabletop high speed, Changsha Xiangzhi Centrifuge
Instrument Co., Ltd).
