investigation employed the Daubechies D-20 rvavelet. srnce it

'Ihe subband infonnation related to the neutral curent can
be obtained lrom the original sigrral using MRA When a fault
adses in the distribution feeder, the sr"rbband infonlation
within the neutral curent signal may contain helpful lault
signatures. This study indicates that the shatp signal variations
can be considered as features of the faults. The HIFs can be
identiiied lrom the sharp varirtions.
