Village Government:
There is definitely a lack of communication between the Inca1 Amphur and Karnan officials with these people. They are therefore left more or less to their own village government systems. While information is lacking on this subject, there are reports that the B'ghwe follow a system somewhat Iike that of the country Shans, without having the village government structure that the Shans have. Their leaders are apparently selected by thegeneral will of the people, but might be called a "Paw Mong"( Father of the area ) or some such Shan title. This is a common practice among other hill tribes of Burma.
