The MIC of methanol, ethanol and ethyl acetate extract of Morinda citrifolia, Vitex trifolia and Chromolaena odorata for the six bacterial isolates tested is presented in Table 3. Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus ATCC 6538 were found to be most sensitive to the extracts since their growth was inhibited at a relatively lower concentration (12.5 mg/ml) than the other organism.
