In 2007, Nwanjo and Ojiako [12], in a study of 20 gasoline station
workers with a history of 6e10 years exposure to gasoline and 20
control individuals, reported significant increases in Alkaline
Phosphatase (ALP), ALT, AST, urea, and creatinine of exposed
individuals.
In this study, no significant difference was noted between mean
values of serum activity of alkaline phosphatase of exposed and
referent individuals. This observation is also in accord with the
findings of Saadat and Ansari-Lari [27].
