Fig. 3 shows the climate conditions of Kuala Lumpur. Note that the monthly lines on the chart never cross the comfort zone, meaning the local conditions always require design and fabric devices to achieve comfort. Evaporative cooling would not work efficiently to achieve comfort because of the high humidity levels. Physiological cooling through the air movement from 1.0 to 1.5 m/s is the best passive means to achieve comfort in this climate [14].
