The numbers of larger sized ciliate species such as Vorticella, Loxophyllum, Metopus, Spathidium, Brachonella and Discomorphella were more in the suspended fed system and Brachonella sp. and
Discomorphella sp. were completely absent in acetate-fed CSTR, as shown in Fig. 3.
