Terminal Objective : The course is designed for Aircraft
Technician/Engineer who will be
responsible to perform the maintenance of
Boeing 737-800/900 Aircraft in the
Airframe Power plant systems in
accordance with the relevant maintenance
procedure.
Enabling Objectives : On completion of the course student will
be able to:
1. Locate and describe access to major
component of the aircraft structure,
airframe systems, and power plant
systems.
2. Explain the operation of airframe and
power plant systems or component using
system schematics.
3. Carry out system functional checks as
specified in maintenance manual.
4. Operate both portable and on board test
equipment (B.I.T.E).
5. Troubleshoot mechanical and power plant
system problems up to the component
level.
6. Read and interpret maintenance manuals,
system schematics, and job cards.
7. Interpret report provided by cockpit
crew.
8. Interpret the conditions showed on
cockpit reading and indication, BITE,
and other information systems.
9. Carry out the general servicing on the
aircraft systems.
