This thesis has been prepared for the purpose of applying the closed loop control system of Dc Motor by using the method of Ziegler-Nichols. This is a way of fine-tuning the control loop. Using data from experiments with Unit step in open loop condition, which results that have made the system stable and resistant to change supply over open-loop system and the controls easy to find. To speed control of the motors will be using the Matlab program helps to control the speed of DC motors.
The PI controller is divided into two parts to control. The first part is to bring the errors are multiplied by the fixed threshold gain P. The second part will be the fault integral with the constant gain I. Then calculated by determining the changes, then bring the two together, the results can be used to control the operation of the DC motor. DC motor speed control system will be run until the motor speed into equilibrium.
