Currently the field of educational administration is not recognized as a discipline
that has a solid quantitative research-based core. Changes must be made in conducting
and reporting quantitative research if the field is to advance the knowledge base and
gain a greater reputation in the arena of scientifically-based research. The field of
educational administration is ripe for change, especially in the manner in which
quantitative results are reported. TheJEAandEAQmust demand nothing less than
total quality in the field of educational research. With this in mind, a primer on
calculating CIs is available from the authors[1] for the most common point estimates
reported in educational administration research.
