2.4. Statistical analysis
Data obtained from chemical analysis of unfermented and fermented UCRM samples were analyzed using one-way analysis
of variance (ANOVA) of Minitab system (Minitab 13.2 Statistical Package, Minitab Inc. State College, PA, USA, 2000). Data
obtained from force-feeding experiment were analyzed using SAS Statistical software (SAS, 2002) to separate the main effect
of fungal fermentation, exogenous enzyme supplementation and interaction effect (fungal fermentation × enzyme supplementation).
Differences between significant mean values were separated using Tukey’s Test. Statements of significance were
based on a probability of P < 0.05.
