Participants
Participants in the study were a course designer, three graduate nursing faculty members, and 27 regis-tered nurses who had been in practice for less than six months and were enrolled in an in-service education course on interprofessional communication. The course designer was a female with 29 years of experi-ence as a registered nurse. She holds a Master of Sci-ence in Nursing and a Doctor of Philosophy in Educa-tional Technology.
