By using the classical method of fibre extrusion, without any special spinnerets, fibrous structures were obtained consisting of a PLA matrix filled with PVDF micro- and nanofibres. This kind of fibres, as a hybrid system, can be successfully used for producing implants and prostheses. On the one hand, they have good mechanical strength and on the other hand, part of the fibre is biocompatible and bioresorbable.
