Love it. Other languages help you to make different connections in your brain. Most native speakers of English have trouble with the "standard" English prescribed (as opposed to described) by English teachers anyway, because it's too inconsistent (e.g., "go" vs "wend"), some of the rules don't make sense (what's wrong with ending a sentence with a preposition?), and it's missing some things it should obviously have (e.g., a proper 3rd person singular neuter pronoun, leading to the usage of the awkward he/she).
