We were under the impression from Yoko and Jeab that they/you would be providing flashcard sets, but, if not, we are happy to make them from the files you sent.
The schools on our list fall into two categories: those we are currently working with (new schools) and those we worked with last school year. (old schools)
The first category are relatively easy because we have KLDF teacher-trainers in their preschool classrooms who will include hands-on training with your system alongside the Montessori training they are giving. We are hoping that these resident teachers will take up the method in the same way most schools we train in Montessori continue working with these methods after our staff leave.
The second category (old schools) will be more problematical because we don't have trainers in the rooms on a daily basis. In addition, as I remarked earlier, the one day training our group received on Oct 3rd was probably not, on its own, enough for a teacher to be able to deliver the materials effectively so we will offer additional training to the teachers in the old schools in the hope that this will open their eyes to the advantages of this system.
We also hope that once the system is introduced in the new schools by our trainers, we can invite teachers from the old schools to see them in action, and (hopefully) get positive feedback on their effectiveness from the teachers who have been using them, thereby increasing the chance of adoption in the old schools.
We would be interested in any experience from your own program in Thai schools which can help us increase the effectiveness of implementation. (In a few months's time, it might be worth bringing together the different trainers who have been trying to get Thai schools to implement these systems to compare lessons learned.)
